About Our Owner
Ava is a native Hawaiian, brought to Columbus with the lure of a scholarship at Ohio State University. She decided to take her knowledge of tea and her Nana’s recipes and open Sugar Inc. Cupcakes and Tea Salon.
Her vision of the salon is to create a welcoming place that people can come to decompress, reconnect with friends or to simply indulge in a little treat. She hopes, after visiting, you will feel she has succeeded.

The most important thing we can do for our health is be conscientious of what we put in our bodies. The type of food we eat determines the type of fuel we have to get through the day. Eating organic also just makes sense.

What makes Historic Dublin, OH perfect for Sugar Inc?
There is just something romantic about historic places. I found the quaint area and all of its unique shops extremely charming. With the floor to ceiling windows, how could I not fall in love with the building? They create a beautiful, warm and inviting space. I also found the people in the area incredibly kind and supportive so, how could I go anywhere else?
